This compact, single-entrance building is part of Domashniy, a new residential neighborhood in the Plekhanovo district of Tyumen. The objective was to create expressive contemporary architecture for affordable housing, utilizing silicate brick construction technology.

A monolithic image was our starting point when developing the massing and facades. The primary volume is realized in pink brick with a picturesque pattern, while the end walls are finished in plaster to contrast the dynamic articulation of the facades. Silicate brick technology imposes many constraints; nevertheless, even with a minimal toolkit, we sought to create expressive architecture with a distinct character.
