CONCATENATION

International competition for the development of the territory along the Iset River from Tkachey Street to Lyzhnikov Street. The competition organizers, the Department of Architecture of the Yekaterinburg City Administration, received 59 applications. Seven teams were selected as finalists to proceed with their project concepts:

The new riverfront project, "Concatenation," represents a synthesis of spatial and ideological principles. It creates a system of urban links, connecting residential masses, waterfronts, and Yekaterinburg’s blue-green infrastructure. This vision integrates sustainable environmental solutions with urban vibrancy, connectivity, and both functional and biological diversity.

Concatenation (from the Latin concatenatio "linking with chains; coupling") - the process of gluing objects of a linear structure together.
